Work has been hectic. On Feb 1st I started my 15 days straight of work. Since I'm the only one in my store I get stuck working on mandatory days. Valentine's Day is busy so cards have to be stocked everyday. Lucky me.
Everything else is my life is good. The weather has finally dried up a bit. Handsome and I were actually able to go on a short ride Wednesday. That was so fun. I grinned the whole time. You'd think I was a newbie rider or something. It felt good to be out in the wind with the sun shining. I am so ready for spring, warmer weather and all the smells that come with it. Oh, the rides we'll take.
My boys are doing better in school. Hard to beleive the year is half over. They are now preparing for 8th grade graduation. I recently learned they wear gowns. I was surprised by this. We didnt have gowns in Jr high but oh well. I'm just happy to be getting them to the point of graduation. Then it will be time to worry about getting them through HS but hey, one worry at a time.
Handsome and I ordered some new items for the Harley. They arrived yesterday. It was fun putting them on the bike. They are mainly accessories to make our trips easier when it comes to packing but that is important when you are traveling cross country. We had plenty of room last time on our other bike and it was bit smaller so this one will be a dream with plenty of space. Next on the list to get is a new backrest for me and a seat. We tried out a few the other day and found that we dont care for them or they won't work for us so instead we decided to take our seat, have it modified and recovered. It will be like new and be exactly what we want. The plan is to have all this done by next month. Then we'll be all ready when trip time comes. We are making our plans and getting excited. All the info I ordered came in the mail. We mapped out a general plan. It's going to be so much fun!!! There is so much to see and do. Can you tell I'm excited?
