The mad rush is over for me at work. Back to my normal schedule of 3 days a week. I'm happy about that. It was crazy on Valentine's day and the day after but tomorrow should be quiet.
I also got the news that there should be a weekend/relief person starting soon so that will also take the pressure off of me at the holiday time.
Valentine's day was good. We don't really celebrate "it" anymore but "it" is the anniversary of when we got engaged. Handsome proposed to me on Valentine's Day 17 years ago. Back then it was very romantic. Now, while the day is still special to us we don't go bold on the day. Life, being together and in love is what we celebrate on a daily basis. We do exchange cards and of course I always get the boys something special.
Handsome and I have been having a good weekend. He's been busy on his latest project. He wanted to add back speakers to the Harley but thought it was ridiculous the prices they were charging. $500.00 and that's just for the pods, not the speakers in them! So, crafty man he is, he set out making his own. Bought the speakers and is now creating the pod. He's almost finished. Once they're finished, he'll cover them in vinyl and TA DA! Great, new speakers. He's good like that!
I've taken advantage of having the whole weekend off to sleep in, relax, catch up on laundry, clean house and did I mention relax? LOL It's been just an awesome weeeknd. I've gotten a lot accomplished, spent quality time with my family and am refreshed for work. What more could a girl want?
