This past week was a sad one for us.
Our kitty died. It was a little unexpected and caught us by surprise. She was so sweet and loving.
She found us years ago. She was abandoned and had taken up residence under the gazebo in our backyard. Me, taking pity on her, starting feeding her. She was so hungry, full of fleas but just wanted to be loved. Eventually we were able to bring her inside and she became a very fat, content, spoiled rotten loving house cat.
She would walk with the boys to school and then come back home to wait for their return. When Handsome and I went on nightly walks, she would join us.
When Handsome arrived home, she always woke to greet him. Her favorite spot to nap was on him in his recliner.
When the boys were sick or sad she would sleep
in their room with them.
She was such a sweetie.
She was very special.
We miss her very much.
