Still Here

Yes, I'm still around. I've just been living life and have not been in the bloggy mood.

Here what's been happening in my little corner of the world.

It's was a hectic last week with Mother's Day approaching. Mother's Day is Hallmark's biggest holiday. Did you know that? Well, now ya do. I was very busy and in addition to all the M. Day product, there was a computer glitch and I was sent double shipments of regular product as well. Oh, ya it was a lot of fun!
My store was also chosen to take part in a customer advisory program (fancy wording for handing out coupons) So... I also got to work a double shift on Friday and then work on Saturday.
Did I mention I was busy? Whew!

My washer decided to finally start to die after 12 years. I was hoping it would hold out a little longer. It was such a good machine. It was my faithful friend for so long, never giving me any problems. I had to let it go. Ordered a new one and it was ready for pick up this weekend. Handsome got it all set up for me. It's wonderful. I am now catching up on laundry.

Handsome and I took our annual Mother's Day ride on the Harley. This year we went up towards Reno, stopping half way for a picnic. We made a full circle back home. It was a full day of riding but we enjoyed every minute of it. The weather was perfect and so was the company.

The end is near. I'm hoping. My sons are set to graduate at the end of this month. Hard to believe my little boys are so grown up. I have no fear for one son but the other is struggling. We've had many conversations with counselors and teachers, they are all in his corner, helping. He assures me he's on track and getting everything done in time. My fingers are crossed, I'm holding my breath and sending out prayers that this is so.
We are down to the crunch. I'm still waiting for it to be over now so we can move onto the next chapter.

My son's laptop quit working. This stressed me out very much until I called and learned it was still under warranty. They're going to fix it like new. All I have to do is put it in the box they provide me, call fed Ex for pick and then wait for it to arrive back all fixed.
Thank you Dell.
