Sunday Ride

Handsome and I decided to take a Harley ride on Sunday and what a ride it was. It started out as just a short day ride. Well.... several hours and miles later we had made a big loop and returned home. We rode about 480 miles just to end up back home but that's okay. We had fun. We left the heat of home, rode up through the redwoods and returned to find the heat had left town. I'm going with the theory that we brought back some of the coastal weather with us. Sounds good to me. LOL

While on our ride we remembered it was the Anniversary of our cross country trip. 2 years ago at this time we were headed to Louisiana. We crossed through Nevada, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and then arrived at our destination. It took us 6 days to get there. We stayed a week and then headed back towards home, hitting a few more states on the way. It was a full 2 weeks of fun. We have very fond memories of that trip and a zillion wonderful pictures.
