Years ago I had a group of friends I hung around with. Many of them male. Yes, a few of them I dated but soon learned we were better friends. I guess it was just natural that as they became involved in relationships that our friendship would fade. I didn't really see that coming and it hurt. I never understood it. We were just friends... but. I respected it. I've recently had a little bit of contact with some of them. It's nice to see them doing so well and so happy.
