Rude

That's me.

Remember several years back when you went to the movies and someone would be using their phone? Now they have those messages to ask you to please not talk or text.

I recently got a new phone. It makes me feel old because it's almost too complicated for me. Obviously after today, I think the almost needs to be changed to.. it's too complicated for me.

Today we decided to go to the movies.

I was going to turn my phone off, which I usually do but my son told me I could just turn it to vibrate and told me what button to push. Okay, done. In my purse it went and I never thought about it again.... until it started ringing. 

Crap! I realized, that's me. Of course, the ringer is set on the loudest setting because otherwise I can't hear it.

Did I mention it makes me feel old?

What seemed like forever I finally got my purse opened and the phone off. I was mortified!  Good Grief!

Note to self: Go with your first instinct. Just turn the darn thing off!
