Long in the Tooth

Today I had a dental appt. It was a long time coming but I was finally able to get my much need bridge. I was thrilled. I went in 2 weeks ago to get the process started and came home with a temporary.

All was fine until last Wednesday with everyday it getting a little bit worse.

Today I went in to let the dentist know and to get the permanent

put on.
I informed her of my discomfort. She did some dentistry things and then proceeded in the prep. At one point she did something that just about sent me through the roof. Before I knew it she was placing the permanent crown/bridge in place. Wait... my tooth still hurts. Too late, it was attached.

I explained that it still hurt to bite.

She messed with it a bit more and said I was all done. Ya, I'm not sure done is the right word....

I again explained to her that I still have pain/discomfort.

She said she prepped the tooth and it could take a couple days to get better.

If it still hurt after that to come back in and she would see what she could do.

I really hope the pain subsides and I can eat normal in a few days.

 If not, at least lets hope I can lose some weight!
