Life is an Everyday Adventure

I tend to post cheery news. I chose to see the bright side of things but I know and you know that life is not always that way.

We all have bad minutes, days, weeks and sometime months.

I have my fair share.

Last year, late summer my mother was diagnosed with aggressive Ovarian Cancer. Considering her age and the advancement of the disease it was not clear at the time how things would turn out.

It was a stressful time in the beginning and for the first few months. I didn't share the news with many. I tried to keep it in perspective. I think part of me felt if I didn't speak of it... maybe it wasn't as bad as it sounded.

It's been many months now and I Very Happy to  report that she is excellent. Chemo is almost complete. The prognosis is good and we all look forward to many more years together.

We beat cancer. She beat cancer.
