The Best Time

Friday evening Handsome and I headed off for our weekend. I had received a free offer in the mail for 2 nights at the hotel so we decided to take advantage.

We arrived without complications. Got our room and set about getting ready. It had been a long day at work and driving so it felt good to shower and relax. We hit the casino floor ready for action. I was thrilled to find is so empty. I'm not fond of an overcrowded casino and this was perfect. I didn't have any trouble finding a friendly machine and right off the bat we both hit a little spending money. At about 11pm we took a break to get a late night snack. We shared breakfast and it was yummy. Not sure if it was the food or the fact that we were so hungry? Whatever the reason, it hit the spot. We finally made our way back to the room around 1:30.

After sleeping in on Saturday morning we walked next door to Cabela's where I got a very nice hoodie on sale. We then headed into downtown Reno to the Silver Legacy. We checked out all they had to offer but didn't have much luck. We had just about given up with Handsome decided to play one more machine. He hit a nice big jackpot, everything we had spent so far and more. After that it was dinner and back to our hotel.

We had a nice breakfast this morning before heading home. Once again, luck was on our side because it didn't start snowing until we hit the summit so we missed getting stuck in traffic. We made it home safe and sound.

We had the best time. The only bad part was I forgot my camera. I was so disappointed not to be able to take photos. Bummer, but that's all I have to complain about so, Life is Good!
