Time for Baking

I'm ready and I've got my pumpkin. Canned that is. There's been a shortage here in my area. I was starting to get worried but today I found 2 stores in the next town over that finally had it in stock. I bought 7 cans. I'm all set.

I had gone online to learn what was going on and found that all over the country in different areas there was a shortage. Turns out there was a problem with the crops so they were delayed in the production and then shipping. They were about a month behind schedule.

I'm just happy I finally have my pumpkin.

Now, it's time for me to start baking. On my list is Pumpkin Bread, Pumpkin Cake, Pumpkin Bars and last but not least Pumpkin Spice Cookies.

I love this time of year!
