Where have I Been?

Not on here as you can see from the fact that I haven't blogged in over a week. What can I say. I've thought about it... I even went as far as to start a post. It just never made it to you.

Also, I was too busy eating Bon Bons and watching my soaps. LOL

My new job is going well. I'm learning as I go. There are a lot of similarities from my other job so I've been doing okay. Mainly it's just learning the layout of each store as they are all different. I worked on my own yesterday and starting next week I'm solo 100%. I finally received my employee # and can now access the website for my schedule and to turn in my hours. I should be getting my first check this coming Friday.

There are only 8 days until fall, officially. As you can see from my page. I haven't waited. I've also been tempted to decorate the house but so far I haven't.... That might be a good thing to do tomorrow.

I love my new "Yard Art". Handsome helped me plant it last weekend. My father-in-law provided the barrel and ta da.... Yard Art. I look forward to changing it with the seasons. So far many of my neighbors have commented and lookie loo drivers have pointed in awe!

Turns out I do need a root canal after all. I've called the dentist. They've called the dental insurance. Now we are just waiting. It's covered under my plan but they submit it first so I know my exact cost. Once they hear back we'll schedule it. The good news... my tooth doesn't hurt all the time. It only hurts if I try to eat with it. You'd think with limited mouth chewing I'd lose some weight but it hasn't happened so far.
