Life goes on....

My son's elbow/arm is healing nicely. It turns out the break was all the way through the joint and he needed surgery to place 2 small pins in the elbow joint to pull it back together. It was a one day in & out procedure. The staples & stitches are now removed and he is healing nicely. It has however put a crimp in his style. He had to drop Baseball and can't ride his bike until the middle of June.

Bummer dude!

We have been enjoy our patio.

There is
still much we want to do with the yard... all in time but for now, it's great. The fans are just the needed breeze to make it all complete. We've been having dinner out there in the evenings. It's wonderful. I have also been able to sneak a few hours on my day off just to sit and read. whoo-hooo.

The other happening thing around here is. I got a new car! Well, new to me. The surprise is, we weren't even looking. I was very happy with my "old" car. Long story short, older neighbor to my father-in-law lost her husband. She no longer drives, has 2 cars, selling one. 2001 Chrysler Concorde. It was bought new and still looks, smells and drives that way. It has super low miles, new tires, new battery and is pristine inside & out. This car is all luxury. It was too good a deal to pass up. I'm tickled to heck with my new ride even though it's not as sporty or hip as my other car was.

I think there may be an old woman in me trying to get out!! LOL.
