That's how long Handsome and I have been married. We celebrated our anniversary over the weekend (the actual day was Sept 1) by going the beach house in Bodega Bay. It was a lovely weekend. The only thing wrong was that is was too short but that's often the case with getaways. The weather was delightful on the coast. We enjoyed being a bit "chilly". We lunched at our favorite spot, Howard's Cafe. We enjoyed the hot tub and just relaxed. We watched the sunset and also the wild life around us. When you sit quiet on the deck you get the chance to see a lot. The deer are in abundance, they're used to people and since almost everyone feeds them they come around every evening. We also found out we have Raccoons. I discovered this completely by accident. I had left a bags of apples (for the deer) on the porch overnight by mistake. When I got up to check on them I found them gone and I saw the little bandit peeking at me from around the deck. I wish I'd grabbed my camera but I didn't want to scare him with the flash. I'm sure he was thrilled to have struck gold! Finally our weekend came to an end and we returned home.

Happy Anniversary! Here's some things we have in common: We celebrated our 18th anniversary this summer too! We just got back from 5 days at the coast. And funny thing, we have a raccoon living under our cabin at the coast! LOL
