A Good Day

Today I’m enjoying my day off. I did the grocery shopping and got that done. I usually do it on Friday or Saturday but have other plans tomorrow. I’ll explain further down. After the grocery store I went to the little farm I found and got a load of fresh veggies. They are a small family farm with a self serve table out front. I saw their ad in the paper last week and decided to check them out. I’m so glad I did. They have wonderful fruits and veggies along with a great variety. They also supply a weekly newsletter letting you know what their next batch of goodies will be and when you can expect them.


Tomorrow I work but after that my plan is to hit the casino. It will be 08-08-08 after all. What kind of gambler would I be if I didn’t try my luck? I remember reading in the paper back in 06 that a woman won BIG at the casino on 06-06-06. I have nothing to lose….. oh wait… that’s not right….. you can’t win if you don’t play… Yah that’s it! LOL


School is fast approaching for my boys. We're going school shopping next week. New shoes are needed along with shirts and shorts. We’ll make the trip to Chico as they have the best selection of stores. It’ll be an all day thing with the drive and then the shopping, wish me luck. I hate the mall! Not really how I want to spend one of my days off but hey, a moms gotta do what a moms gotta do.
